This high-quality silicone grommet sleeve is designed to replace the worn pot holder rubbers on Smev, Dometic, and Thetford gas hobs. Perfect for securing the pan support rods (5mm) on your motorhome or caravan hob, it reduces rattle and enhances stability during use. Made from durable, heat-resistant silicone, this grommet is designed to withstand temperatures up to 260°C, offering an extended service life compared to the original parts.
Unlike the original grommets, which tend to wear out and break easily, this improved design features a slightly softer silicone material and a larger top profile for better resistance when replacing pan supports. It is highly wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant, and built to protect your hob from unnecessary damage, prolonging the life of your grill.
This grommet fits all SMEV Dometic cookers, cooktops, and combination units (excluding the MO9122) and is compatible with Cramer hobs. The design accommodates a 7mm hole in the hob and is compatible with wire grids ranging from 4.5 to 5.5mm in diameter.
